Under Construction: About Rapanui

While the online yoga gift shop is under construction I thought I'd tell you about the creations that will soon available there. Today I wanted to tell you about Rapanui who Yoga Will Save the World have worked with to make our line of clothes. Rapanui was founded on the magical Isle of Wight in 2008 by Rob and Martin Drake-Knight, now aged 24 and 25, with £200 savings. We love for so many reasons, here are 4.
  1. They use ethically accredited factories that are powered by wind and solar energy to make their clothing.
  2. They use a trace mapping tool so you can find out exactly where their products come from, how and where they are made.
  3. Their clothes and fabrics feel oh so soft and sexy.
  4. Sir David Attenborough was recently quoted talking about Rapanui as "A Most interesting and Valuable Project".
Here are some photos of the hoodies and vest they made for Yoga Will Save the World. The shoot was directed in Richmond Park, London by the wonderful Kathryn Ryan, shot by the talented Victoria Swainson and modeled by my beautiful cousin Sarah.
